Talks

Over the years I’ve traded my keyboard for a microphone and shared the stage from international conferences to cozy meetups—on everything from high-performance Python web frameworks to async scheduling magic.

Below you’ll find a curated list of all the talks I’ve given so far:

PyCon PT 2023: Complex Python made it easy with async

I still remember this conference talk — heart pounding like a jackhammer, palms slick enough to double as a slip ’n slide, and a laser pointer that decided to go on strike midway through.

Cue me, fumbling with cables like a rogue electrician and charming the audience with a few unexpected “technical improv” moments.

Thankfully, between the occasional static crackle and my slightly off-script jokes, we made it through—slides and microphone eventually cooperating just long enough to call it a success!

PyCon PT 2024: Esmerald and Lilya - How to speed up the development process

Fastforward to my latest talk: I strolled on stage with confidence (and a trusty backup clicker), the slides loaded in a blink, and not a single cable decided to stage an uprising.

The microphone cooperated so beautifully I almost missed those unplanned “tech improv” highlights — almost.

All in all, smooth sailing, a few well-timed jokes, and not one frantic scramble for duct tape. Now that’s progress!

Fancy a Tech Talk?

If you’re planning an event and want someone who’ll deliver deep-dive Python wizardry, async magic, or cloud antics with just the right sprinkle of humor, I'm your person!

My calendar is embarrassingly empty, my slides are eager for an audience, and my laser pointer promises to behave (probably).

Feel free to invite me. I’m free to turn your next meet-up, conference, or team offsite into a code-fueled party! 🚀😁
